The seminar will be delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marko Hölbl, Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics at the University of Maribor, and a member of the Laboratory for Data Technologies. His research covers cybersecurity, ranging from cryptography to user-centric aspects of information security and privacy. He has participated in numerous projects, seminars, and workshops, and has been a partner in European, national, and industry projects, as well as projects for the European Space Agency. He is an active member and Secretary General of CEPIS LSI (Council of European Professional Informatics Societies – Legal and Security Issues Special Interest Network), a member of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), a member of the Executive Board of the Association for Informatics and Telecommunications, the Cybersecurity Section at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and the Advisory Working Group on Cryptography.
