Digital workplace design is becoming a key factor in the development of efficient, safe, and ergonomic working environments in which humans operate independently or in collaboration with machines and robots. Rapid technological development offers companies new opportunities to optimize work processes, while at the same time posing challenges in ensuring appropriate working conditions and a positive user and work experience.
In this workshop, we will explore how a digital simulation–based approach can be used already in the design phase to evaluate and improve workplace layouts. We will present the potential of digital workplace design and highlight the benefits it brings to companies in terms of reducing risks, costs, and physical strain on employees.
The goal of the workshop is not only to address these challenges but also to provide practical insight into the possibilities of digital workplace planning and to encourage reflection on its application in real industrial environments.
