As part of the EU Funding Clinic, the second online seminar will take place, where we will present the second Circular Invest call, which is a new instrument of the European Community for the development of investment projects. It allows applicants from public and private organizations or a consortium of partners to obtain expert and technical assistance in preparing major investment projects (between 2 million EUR and 20 million EUR) for the purposes of optimizing the circular and digital economy, obtaining investment funds, and preparing business and investment projects. Circular Invest is a development aid of the European Community to support the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) and an instrument in the implementation of the European Action Plan for the Circular Economy. The Circular Invest initiative will be presented by representatives of META Circularity and META Group, which is also one of the partners in the Circular Invest project, along with Inova+, ICLEI, and Circle economy.

During this time, project holders (companies and public organizations) on the topic of transition to the circular economy and digitalization of cities and regions can submit their applications, which will be evaluated by a group of independent experts by February 2024. From the received applications, they will select participants for the mentoring program and support in refining projects for their investment readiness. Selected applicant projects (consortia, public-private partnerships, or companies and public organizations) will receive expert services, such as business planning, assessment of circular and digital maturity, and networking with potential investors.
