Artificial intelligence is rapidly entering the fields of health, movement, prevention, rehabilitation and wellbeing – from movement and physical performance analysis to personalised recommendations, data monitoring and support for professionals. But where does AI actually create value, and where does it remain mostly hype?
At AI IN HEALTH-TECH: From Hype to Practice, we will demystify the use of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies at the intersection of health, movement and sport. Through concrete examples, we will explore how to identify the right problem, select appropriate technology, validate a solution with users, and develop it from an initial concept to an MVP and real-world application.
A particular focus will be placed on the practical use of technology:
- how AI can support movement and data analysis, prevention, rehabilitation, personalisation and physical performance monitoring;
- how new solutions can be tested with users;
- and what is required for a technology prototype to become a useful solution.
Business models, funding, branding and internationalisation will be presented as supporting elements in the development and wider adoption of technology.
Participants will learn:
- where AI and digital technologies can create concrete value in health, movement and wellbeing;
- how to move from a problem to an idea, validation and a first MVP;
- how to test technology with users in real-world environments;
- how to distinguish a useful AI solution from technology hype;
- what is needed to move from prototype to wider adoption;
- how to connect the needs of users and professionals with the expertise of technology companies, startups and researchers.
The event also aims to connect the Health-Tech and Sport-Tech communities – startups, technology companies, researchers, health and movement professionals, sports organisations, and others interested in developing and testing new digital solutions.
