The AI and Cybersecurity workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the relationship between artificial intelligence and modern cybersecurity. Participants will learn how artificial intelligence can support information and cybersecurity activities, as well as the risks and security challenges associated with using AI systems.
The first part of the workshop will introduce the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI, together with their application in attack detection and cyber defense. Examples will include anomaly detection, log analysis, and malware detection. The use of large language models (LLMs) to automate security processes and support ethical hacking and penetration testing will also be addressed.
The second part of the workshop will focus on the security and ethical challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence, including attacks on machine learning models, data poisoning, prompt injection, information leakage, and other risks related to generative AI within organizations. Regulatory and legal aspects will also be covered, together with best practices for the safe and responsible use of AI solutions.
The workshop is intended for individuals who wish to acquire or deepen their knowledge of how to apply artificial intelligence in cybersecurity and gain a better understanding of the risks AI poses to modern digital environments.
