Demystification of Artificial Intelligence in Agrifood

On the 3rd of October 2023, the webinar Demystification of AI in Agrifood will take place, where we will present digital innovative services as support for businesses in the agri-food sector. The lecture will be held by prof. dr. Domen Mongus from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics of the University of Maribor, who with his research and project work is also largely involved in the field of agriculture. He will mainly present his work in the field of Earth observation technologies and data integration for various databases for forecasting and decision-making in agricultural management.
Our lecture will be supplemented with practical examples from the digital transformation of the agrifood sector, where M.Sc. Tomaž Bokan will present the Farm manager application and the latest results of cooperation with farmers and technology companies. With carefully tailored innovative solutions for agricultural management, we will demonstrate how we work with our key customers – farmers, and how they can optimize their processes (e.g. fertilization and spraying), improve farming efficiency and achieve sustainable growth.
