From May 23 to June 13, a hybrid DIGI-SI hackathon will take place, aimed at developing ideas for applications to international projects. The hackathon will begin with the online DIGI-SI EU Financial Clinic VIII, where we will identify interest in applications for the presented calls, and then interested participants will receive further instructions on preparing for the hackathon: concept preparation, pitch presentations, etc. Participation in the financial clinic is not a prerequisite for participating in the hackathon, and you can also participate with open ideas that are not tied to the presented calls.
On June 13, the final part of the hackathon will take place in Moravske Toplice, where, with mentors from the international BIO-Boost consortium, you will develop project ideas.
Applications are open until 2 June 2024 by the end of the day, so we can equip you with additional tools and instructions.
Why is the event important?
Event focus:
The event will focus on developing project ideas for existing CBE JU and cascade calls or on developing project ideas in reserve with the creation of business models. Experts from various fields, both domestic and foreign, will be available at the event.
Digital technologies in the bioeconomy:
Digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), robotics, high-performance computing (HPC), and cybersecurity are crucial for the transition of SMEs to the bioeconomy, so we will also incorporate these elements into our ideas and concepts.
