Through Product P2, the Slovene Enterprise Fund encourages young, innovation-oriented companies to realise their development potential. The product primarily focuses on areas aligned with the principles of climate neutrality, the circular economy and Slovenia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy (S5).
The product provides co-financing in the form of a grant for the launch of innovation-oriented companies, the development of an MVP (minimum viable product) and the introduction of market-ready products to the market. The grant amount is EUR 72,000, covering 100% of eligible costs. Payment will be made in three tranches over a period of two and a half years.
Product P2 is intended for companies with a product in the development phase, preferably at prototype stage. The product or service may already have been validated with early users, and the company should have a clear idea of how it will develop the solution and bring it to market.
Key changes in 2024:
The solution must be aligned with at least one priority area of Slovenia’s Sustainable Smart Specialisation Strategy (S5).
Participation in startup training contributes points in the call.
The grant amount per company has been increased.
Instead of 40 companies, 30 companies will be supported: 16 from the Eastern Cohesion Region and 14 from the Western Cohesion Region.
Only limited liability companies (d.o.o.) may apply to the call; sole proprietors and cooperatives are no longer eligible.
