IT Tour: Journey into the World of Artificial Intelligence: Trapped Opportunities

The Slovenian Tourism Board in cooperation with the Strategic Innovation Partnership for Tourism (SRIPT) is organizing the IT-tour event as part of the Days of Slovenian Tourism on 15 November 2023. The event is one of the measures of the new Strategy for the Digital Transformation of Slovenian Tourism 2022-2026, prepared by the Slovenian Tourism Organization in March 2022. This year’s central theme of the event will be the applied aspect of artificial intelligence (AI). In 2023, with the launch of the Chat GPT tool and many other applications, artificial intelligence triggered a wave of changes, questions and discussions about the future in all industries and society on a global scale. Two big movements are taking place in parallel, namely, the technological race to capture the market with hundreds of new applications and the transformation of companies, public systems and individuals to strengthen the skills to use UI solutions and manage its pitfalls.
