More than 1,250 services delivered to micro, small and medium-sized (SME) companies pursuing digital transformation, and over 1,600 participants attending digitalisation-related training programmes , these are just two of the key results presented by EDIH DIGI-SI and SRC-EDIH at the final conference of the Slovenian European Digital Innovation Hubs. Alongside these joint achievements, EDIH DIGI-SI highlighted more than 30 developed prototypes, 40 proof-of-concept evaluations, €4.7 million in triggered investments, 45 expert seminars, 60 workshops, 800 digital maturity assessments, and a 14% increase in the digital maturity of participating companies.

In supporting companies, the EDIH DIGI-SI consortium also contributed to the preparation of 30 business plans, 100 project proposals and 80 financial clinics, while organising community-building initiatives such as DIGI-SI Challenge, DIGI-SI Community Days and DIGI-SI Roadshow events. These activities focused on connecting businesses with researchers, fostering co-creation of innovation and strengthening the digital ecosystem. The conference highlighted not only achieved results, but also future plans and concrete, experience-based steps for delivering the next phase of EDIH services tailored to SMEs. Among the finalists of the Digital Innovation Challenge 2025, the LynxCraft team stood out with a platform that significantly accelerates and reduces the cost of construction processes.

With aligned strategies and strengthened collaboration for the upcoming project period, EDIH DIGI-SI and SRC-EDIH aim to create new opportunities for companies on their digital transformation journey. This was emphasised by Franci Bratkovič, Director of the Development Centre Novo mesto and coordinator of SRC-EDIH, and Katja Mohar Bastar, Director of DIH Slovenia, who will coordinate EDIH DIGI-SI in the next three-year cycle. Dr. Aida Kamišalić Latifić, State Secretary at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, noted that the EDIHs clearly understand the challenges faced by companies and respond with practical, solution-oriented services. In the new period, both hubs will therefore further upgrade and expand their offer, with a strong focus on continuity and the delivery of high-quality, company-tailored digital transformation services.

The conference also marked an important milestone for digital innovation hubs in Slovenia – deeper coordinated cooperation in supporting digital growth, testing emerging technologies and strengthening connections within national and European innovation networks.

A special highlight of the event was the presentation of the finalists of the Digital Innovation Challenge 2025 competition, some of the most inspiring digital solutions shaping Slovenia’s future. Five finalists showcased their innovations, with the winning team LynxCraft, led by Marko Hozjan, receiving the top recognition. Their AI-powered digital platform combines algorithmic design and advanced construction systems to significantly speed up and optimise building processes.

Other finalists included Lovro Krašovec (transportpartner.online), who presented a platform that automates the entire transport-ordering process; Anže Škodlar (DocuWise), with a solution for automated preparation of legal and business documents; Boris Grivič (Dr. Hause), with an AI-supported voice transcription and medical documentation automation tool; Andraž Selan (Incognitio), with a platform for comprehensive automation of business and production processes; and Jure Lampe (SandBoxOS), with an open-source platform enabling fast, secure and efficient deployment of IoT solutions — from smart cities and industry to agrifood and healthcare.

The event concluded with networking and B2B meetings, providing participants with opportunities to exchange experiences, build new partnerships and explore future collaborations.
