National Financial Clinic – Presentation of the STEP Public Funding Call

As part of the DIGI-SI project, we are organising a financial clinic dedicated to the presentation of the currently open public call STEP – Incentives for the Development and Production of Strategic Technologies for Europe (JR STEP). In Slovenia, this call is targeted at projects implemented in the Eastern Cohesion Region (Vzhodna Slovenija).
The call supports the development and production of strategic technologies in the fields of digital and deep-tech technologies, clean and low-carbon technologies, and biotechnology. It is intended for companies developing technologically advanced solutions with high development and market potential that seek to position their activities within the broader European framework of strategic autonomy.
The call will be presented by Anja Bačko from TIKO pro, who has extensive experience in preparing applications for national and European funding programmes. Participants will receive a clear and practical overview of the call conditions, applicant and activity eligibility, key content requirements, and the most common application pitfalls.
A special focus of the financial clinic will be placed on practical guidance for preparing a high-quality application, understanding the regional eligibility constraints of the call, and learning how to design and position a project in a way that aligns with the objectives of the STEP call and increases its chances of success.
