Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Practice: ChatGPT and Other Tools for Faster and Smarter Work

We invite you to a hands-on workshop designed to empower users in the practical use of artificial intelligence tools.

During this practical workshop, you will learn how AI tools can significantly accelerate and improve your daily work processes. Through concrete examples, we will demonstrate how ChatGPT and other advanced tools support text creation, document and data analysis, summarisation, idea generation, and the development of various working materials.

You will learn how to craft effective prompts, identify good and bad practices, and select approaches that deliver the best results. The workshop is designed to ensure that participants actively try out the presented techniques and can immediately apply them in their own work—regardless of their field or prior knowledge.

The seminar will be delivered by Assist. Dr. Jani Dugonik, a researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor. With over ten years of experience in evolutionary algorithms and natural language processing and more than seven years of work in artificial intelligence, he combines in-depth theoretical knowledge with practical approaches. Recently, his focus has been on research in the field of cyber and information security, based on the integration of security technologies with intelligent agents and natural language processing methods. His research is rooted in an interdisciplinary approach and collaboration in various projects both in Slovenia and abroad.
