Saša Štraus, PhD
is an agricultural specialist and senior expert with more than 10 years of experience in leading research and development projects in agriculture and food in agrifood companies. She has covered various areas of agriculture, from field production (agronomic parameters of legumes, oilseeds, irrigation technologies), through the development of new products in the field of processing agricultural plants to the development of organic production in the field and livestock (pigs, broilers). As part of the agrifood chain, she has set up new quality schemes, namely GGAP, GRASP and GMO-free chicken. She was also active in circular economy and the development of the calculation of the environmental footprint of individual products based on life cycle assessment. She has knowledge in the field of organization, planning, economic efficiency and management of the most demanding R&D projects, as well as an investment project. Monika Cvetkov, PhD
PhD of Agronomy, is a junior project manager at Technology Park Ljubljana. Katja Mohar Bastar
has a master's degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor. She currently holds the position of executive director at DIH Slovenia, where she actively participates in European Union projects and the development of content in the field of artificial intelligence, cyber security, sustainability and digital competences. She works with various professional and political groups to promote progress in these areas. Jernej Pintar, PhD
CEO and head of Tech Community at Technology Park Ljubljana. He is a diagnostician on ScaleUps and their growth. For more than a decade he is a jury member of a national competition for fastest growing company (‘The Golden Gazelle’). is a DIH AGRIFOOD manager, Business Development Manager and senior international consultant, with more than 20 years of experience in executing leading-edge international projects in ICT, Telecommunications, Broadcasting and implementation of ICT in Agriculture and other sectors. He is a highly skilled international Project manager with excellent communication skills, teamwork and reporting skills due to his vast experience in international consulting and use of advanced project management tools and methods. He is also a recognized international trainer with years of experience in executing training sessions covering ICT topics, development of DIHs, Project management, Rural development, etc. His track record includes commercial and co-funded project implementation in Norway, Serbia, UAE, Tanzania, Western Balkan countries and other regions. Brane Semolič, Phd
he holds a scientific master's degree and a doctorate in business informatics. His professional interest is innovation and technology management, information systems engineering, virtual organizations and systems management, and project and knowledge management. He has 40 years of working experience in different industries (toolmaking-machine industry, IT, chemicals, household appliances, government, education) as an expert, researcher, manager, CEO, entrepreneur, counselor, and professor. Currently, he operates as head of the international virtual living laboratory LENS Living Lab, organized and enabled by ICT and consulting SMEs. He is acting as initiator and coordinator of various research and innovation virtual collaboration platforms, programs, and projects for the needs of different industries (ICT, robotics, advanced manufacturing, logistics, education). He was a Member of the Strategic Advisory Board of European Competitiveness and Innovation and the Slovenian Chamber of Business Services president. Professor Semolič is also an academic advisor for the PM World Journal, USA, editorial board member of the International Journal of Project and Technology Management, and some other editorial boards on the national and international level.

She has more than 10 years of various experience in consulting and training in administration & accounting, rural development, waste management and health insurance. Aleksandra is highly skilled in Communication and dissemination, developing and implementing dissemination and communication plans for the ITC, DIH AGRIFOOD and EU funded projects. She efficiently manages many social media channels, newsletters, websites, and other channels, achieving high visibility and impact in rural development and digital transformation. Aleksandra also has a track record in rural development strategic and operational work, being active at Regional Development Agency Mura.
