Workshop on Digital Technologies: Using the Task Journal for Effective Farming

We are organizing a special digital workshop for all farmers and agricultural advisors, where we will introduce our central application – the Task Journal. This innovative platform is designed for efficient management and recording of all your agricultural activities throughout the year, helping you with organization, monitoring, and reporting.

First Day: November 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM

Initially, we will present the DIH Agrifood applications, led by Miran Bunderla, Head of Development at ITC. Following that, we will introduce the basics and functionalities of our core platform – the Task Journal, presented by Lara Resman from KGZS Murska Sobota. Special attention will be given to the user registration process, where we will demonstrate live how simple and quick it is to register in the system. This part is intended so that before the next workshop, all users successfully register and are prepared for practical use.

Second Day: November 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM

In the second part, we will provide a detailed overview of the practical application of the Task Journal. Participants will have the opportunity to independently test and use the application. You will learn how to add machinery, enter fertilizer and FFS stocks, manage crop rotations, and record various activities such as plowing, sowing, fertilizing, spraying, and tracking systems. Additionally, we will demonstrate how to add important files, like FFS declarations or invoices, and how to prepare reports essential for agricultural policy. For a better experience, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the application in advance and trying it out.

Communication Method:

We will ensure effective communication between participants and advisors, where advisors will have access to admin functions, enabling easy support, answering questions, and assisting with task execution within the system. This approach will make the training lively, interactive, and as useful as possible for your work on the farm.

This two-day event is designed for everyone who wants an in-depth understanding and practical experience with digital technologies in agriculture and aims at a greener future for farming.
